Sanctuary we call life

Normally I am amazed with the wonder of human being:
It cherishes so much to see them move
and think and talk and making noises
I just love them

How can I tell how grateful I am,
for being one of them
The sense of their consciousness and vitality
fills me with waves of awe
For the hands which had shaped them and nurtured them
And kept them in the sanctuary
Which we call life

Pioneer Square Portland
Summer 2015

Yellow light

Turns on somewhat shortly
Just a tender slender reminder
That everything under the banner,
might just work great with sober care.

Everything eventually shall fall into its place
Just be patient and persistent,
in the thing that you know
is true and beautiful

Archdoors

White pillars seems so sturdy
In the robe of reddish bricks
The artsy archdoors stand upright
In the midst of flooding crowd

O silent witness of human actions
Stand there, gaze the sky
Watch the sky and what it may bring

Portland Saturday Market
June 27 2015
Under the crowd memories

This busy street

One goes to the North
Other goes to the South
Or West
Or East

Some look eager and friendly
Some look discouraged and confused
All we need is mindful presence

Beloved mankind

At that street as the winds
Give birth to excitements and desires
To observe and to enjoy the sun
A light of thought
A blazing sweetness and tenderness
Greets my inner part

When man was born and since then on
All of sudden they know
This movement which could never stop
To be loved...
And to love....

Things might go wrong
And they did, so many times

Hurt
Wounded
Cracked
Smacked
Trampled
But you know what?
The wholest and most beautiful heart is...
The heart which has been broken and yet mended

The best form

A happy soul sings
A happy spirit dances
A happy body bows down
A happy thought moves the hands make poems and songs

But even the stars know---

So do the sun and the moon

Ever since the intelligence established

In the rocks by the sloppy valley

In the mouth of the big ocean and high mountain ---

That the best form of songs and poems is...

Prayer

All beauty

My soul smiles
In the eye of that loving gaze
And I smile
For how easy I am moved
In the gaze of such enermous beauty

Tears drop
In such warmth and depth
Of the source of unutterable strength
Which leads me to the still water

Now my spirit convinced
All beauty comes from You
That beauty leads us to You
And reserved for You

WonderRock

Haystack,
happiness couldn't be lack
Since how grateful I find along the track
Enjoying such wonder as the eggs crack
By your fortress as the birds wait and whack
any disturbances they might on your rack

O, dear majestic rock
Just wait, and I will be back

The road ahead

The road ahead is bright and beautiful
Clear?
Doesn't show yet
But for sure, it's safe in His hands
Those strong hands which had and has
Been keeping us through the rainbow and storms
He is strong, mighty
And ye(s)t He is Wise

Supple and pliant

So I am in the road again
To moves fast
With all the beauty which cloud me
All around, right and left

The brick houses in orange splendor
Roses all around
So green city where life is inexorable
So lovely to see around

Throne of servanthood

Ancient paradox which sages of all ages
Keep pondering upon
That any throne is the seat of kenosis*)
The more power you got,
The more you are to serve
Cause by then many will come
under your benevolence and abundance

Yes, even in our luxury
Or even more in our modesty
In that throne brought by universe
You need to stretch open your hands
To be mindful and to remember
Those who are in need of you

*) kenosis = self-emptying act

Web under the sun

Colors of various kinds
When it's combined in peaceful ways
Can bring minds to the clouds

Where there is no bragging
There is no sense of insecurity
It's just that
It's the whole

There is nothing new under the sun
What has ever been has been
So, it is the meanin'
That we make out of loving encounter
Will last
And that starts from the heart
Have a peaceful one

Being content

Do you see these beautiful little things smiling?
I do. I am moved.
They are honest and show their true colors
In the face of sun
On this lively world

They are just happy being what they are
They don't ask for more or to be more
Yet they are beautiful.

Icon and roses

That universe is kind,
Thus I whisper to myself--
Just because You are kind and merciful
They serve you with all that they are:
The creatures, plants, grass and flowers

It is by You, O Giver of life

In you we move and live and have our beings
Thus bowing down before you
As simple and natural as the roses in the field
My soul filled with wonder
Blessed are You, O the Life of all

Portland, Summer 2015

You can tell...

That it's been quite a journey to cross the pacific
Well, lucky that it's been made much easier
By the use of big giant bird
Which we call machine

So now it's not like in the old times
It takes neither years nor months
To be there and then aware
But in the matter of hours

Viola!
That's something to be grateful of
That hanging among the clouds
And the subtle almost invisible air
We can ascend and run
Behold the bridge between Tokyo and Chicago

The Pacific Ocean, Summer 2015

Looking from above

Hey, that's Mt. Hood protruding
Its pointy nose kisses the sky
Gleaming with golden flames

So then I know I am home so soon
To feel that soft and tender breeze
Yes even in summer that is
To feel the hug, the smile and the sun
Packing up the moments
The unforgettable ones

How lovely this journey has been
And I learned,
Universe is kind

Chicago, the city of wind

Flags are waving
As they are hangin'
Signs of friendship and mutual respect
That the world is one
As they go through whispering
O'Hare, O'Hare

We go in and out
From the oceans of passangers
Sometimes tense, rare at ease
From you we soar across the ocean
Both far and nigh
How glad we are in you
Chicago, the city of wind

Sky of Japan

There we go
Up in the sky so intense
So blue and so clear
As the plane moves fast
And yet steady
Up in Japan's sky

To the new world
From the islands nation in the east
Thus reaching another half of the earth
With joy I fly
With excitement awaits so mightily
